We are presently maintaining 208100 meter. What are the necessary checklist to maintain the electronic meter. If one is found to be not calibrated, how to repair it? The emon is connected to the imon. How do i check the accuracy of the imon?

All Emon meters are shipped in a calibrated and fully functional tested condition. Since the unit is factory-calibrated using proprietary firmware algorithms, no internal unit adjustments are necessary.
The meters contain no internal adjustments, so no preventative or scheduled maintenance is required.
The I-Mon was renamed to IDR in 2004. The IDR's job is simply to record the meter pulses until the software downloads and converts the pulses to kWh and kW data.
I suggest check the meter connected to the IDR for proper installation and operation. Have your electrician contact E-Mon technical support at 1-800-334-3666 M-F 8:00AM to 7:30PM Eastern Time.

Can the IDR accomodate other energy meter brand to accumulate the pulse?

Hi an IDR with the option -ST can take 3rd party meter inputs.
Third-Party Meter Connections In order to connect “third-party” meters such as gas, water or utility-type meters, the IDR must be ordered with the “two-screw” connectors (designated with the suffi x ST at the end of the model number) terminals instead of the modular jacks that are used with E-Mon D-Mon meters. The IDR for third-party metering is always powered by the optional AC adapter power supply and requires an available 120 VAC receptacle to obtain the power. The receptacle must not be switched off at any time. See Section 5.0, Optional AC Adapter. The input pulses supplied to the IDR must be non-powered, and they can be either physical (mechanical) contacts or electronic switches. When electronic switches are used, the “COM” terminal on the IDR is the “+” output and the “SIG” is the return from the switch.
